Here Comes Santa Blog Party
It's here! The "Here Comes Santa Claus" party at Go Graham Go and Jolly Mom starts today! Knowing Piera and Felicia, there is sure to be some great giveaways and gift ideas. Right now, you can earn three extra entries in each holiday giveaway simply by sharing your favorite Christmas memory on your blog.
My favorite memory is playing at my grandmother's house with all my cousins. Each Christmas Eve, we would drive to grandmother's for a celebration for the entire family, my Dad is one of six kids. My cousins and I would unwrap presents (little things like harmonicas or cards), play games, and eat lots of food. It was a very simple and happy time.

Mama’s Holiday Wish List Meme
TodaysMama and Provo Craft are giving away a sleighful of gifts this holiday season and to enter I’m sharing this meme with you.
1. What 5 items are on your holiday wish list this year?
A 42-46" tv now that we have a place to put it, and to watch UNC basketball.
KitchenAid Hard-Base Porcelain Aluminum Nonstick 18-by-10-Inch Two-Burner Griddle, Red
Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympics
A Kindle
A new digital camera with burst feature.
2. What is your favorite handmade gift you have received?
A wedding scrapbook created by my two sisters.
3. What handmade gift have you always wanted to tackle?
Scrapbooks for my parents and in-laws of the house they helped us renovate while I was pregnant.
4. What was the best Christmas gift you received as a child?
A wooden dollhouse.
5. What items are on your kid’s wish list this year?
He is too young to ask for anything yet, and I am struggling with what he needs. We got a playset for free, so he really doesn't "need" anything.
6. What is your favorite holiday food?
A fresh cranberry side dish that I make with apple cider. It goes so well with breakfast, lunch and dinner.
7. What will you be hand-crafting for the holidays?
A few scarves for gifts.
8. What is your favorite holiday movie?
Miracle on 34th Street
9. Favorite holiday song?
Winter Wonderland
10. Favorite holiday pastime?
Anything that does not involve shopping. Actually, a few years ago, my mother-in-law and I spent Christmas Eve baking a few cookies while watching Christmas movies. It was so relaxing and got us in the right frame of mind for the spirit of the day.

How do you keep track of your kid's stuff?
How much time have you lost looking for sippy cups, pacifiers, jackets, and shoes? Luckily, I haven't spent too much time doing that yet ... thanks to Oliver's Labels. I found their ad in the back of Parent's Magazine and ordered on a whim. They have not disappointed me yet.
I ordered the School Pack, which includes labels for shoes, clothing, sippy cups, etc. The kit also contains bag tags, which are great for lunch bags.
.
The other thing I love about this product is the Found-it Tracking System. You can choose to have the larger labels printed with a website link and a code that allows people to report the items they find.
Somehow, we haven't lost anything yet, but the toddler is only two.
This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own. I was given a small sample of the Stick-eez stickers after I purchased my own package.

"What happens if I lose something?
If you ever lose an item with a Found-it™ tracking system code, have no fear! When someone finds it they will be prompted to go to a special page on our website with instructions to enter the code on the label. We then match you to your Found-it™ tracking system code and send you a notification email right away. Oliver’s Labels acts as an intermediary between you and the finder so you never have to share any of your personal information!"Somehow, we haven't lost anything yet, but the toddler is only two.

Pedoodles: Good for Their Feet and the Earth!
Several months ago, I won a great pair of these shoes for Monkey.
"Pedoodles is a fabulous shoe company that not only boasts adorable shoes with flexible soles, but they are also Eco-friendly! This is an added bonus to an already wonderful shoe! They have shoes from newborn all the way up to age 4.In 2008 Pedoodles started creating their PedFlex soles from recycle materials. They also have started packaging their shoes in recycled gift boxes! If you aren't already sold on the style and flexibility, their Eco-conscious mind set puts the icing on the cake!" - Felicia from GoGrahamGo
I selected the Little Caesars. Monkey loves them and I love them because they are light-weight and very flexible for his still unsteady gait. His daycare teachers love them because he has been tripping less in these than other shoes, and he will keep them on all day.
So thanks to Felicia and Pedoodles for giving me the chance to try these out.
